FAQ
The all-inclusive rate covers all leadership development sessions, accommodations, daily meals, and a curated selection of well-being activities. Group transportation from the designated city meeting point to the retreat venue and back is also included. Please note that airfare is not included and should be arranged independently by each participant.
Airfare and individual travel to the designated city meeting point are not included in the package. However, group ground transportation between the city and the retreat venue will be provided at the start and end of the retreat.
Packing recommendations will be shared closer to the retreat date, based on the season and specific location. Retreats are typically held in spring and summer at various destinations across France. In general, we recommend packing casual, comfortable clothing, one or two business casual outfits, and suitable attire for wellness and outdoor activities.
Visa requirements vary depending on your nationality. We recommend checking with the French embassy or consulate in your country to determine if a visa is required and which documents you may need.
This depends on the venue. Some locations offer family-friendly accommodations and pricing adjustments can be made accordingly. However, please note that the retreat program is intentionally designed to focus on individual growth and leadership. No activities or childcare will be organized within the leadership program. The family members will be responsible for organizing their own schedule during the retreat.
Yes, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free meals can be arranged directly with the venue at no additional cost.
If you require meals that must be prepared by a certified caterer (e.g., kosher), this may be possible depending on the venue’s availability and policies. Please note that such meals may incur an additional cost per day.

All deposits are non-refundable. The remaining balance is fully refundable up to 90 days before the start date of the retreat. As refund policies may vary depending on the venue, we encourage participants to contact the retreat organizer for venue-specific details.

the woman behind it all
Alexandra Gantier is the founder and mastermind behind the Empowering Women Global Leaders seminar and international retreat series. A woman of many talents, she holds a master's degrees in Public Affairs, International Relations, and Management, as well as Philosophy, a JD in International and European Law, and has continued her academic pursuit with her PhD work focused on management control and corporate structures around DEI policies in public companies in the United States.
A lawyer, academic, consultant and entrepreneur, Alexandra has always been dedicated to acting for gender equality and building towards more inclusive and equitable leadership access for women professionals. In 2019, she founded her public relations agency, AGH Communications LLC. Her agency has distinguished itself through its commitment to large-scale socio-economic causes, offering narratives and communication strategies to stakeholders dedicated to driving sustainable change across various industries. In 2024, she founded The Poderosas, an organization dedicated to empowering Hispanic women to thrive in both corporate and entrepreneurial leadership roles. Her steadfast commitment to a more inclusive and equitable world has fueled her work in corporations, nonprofits, and social communities, and Empower Women Global Leaders is her effort to empower all women to act for gender equality.
